# Trade an agent crew for one assistant per project

If a crew of scheduled agents is creating more questions than results, reorganize around one folder, context, and log per project with a single assistant on top, like Igor Fedorko did after switching off 26 of 28 scheduled runs on his 16-agent setup.

## Inputs to collect first
Ask the user for anything below that they haven't already given you. Don't guess missing facts.

- Each agent or scheduled run, what it does, how often it runs, and…
- Your own material (text, notes or data)

## Instructions

Do the task below with the user's inputs in place of each [bracket].

Help me simplify my AI agent setup. Current setup: [list each agent or scheduled run, what it does, how often it runs, and how often I actually read or act on its output]. My active projects/clients: [list]. Do three things: (1) mark each agent or run as keep, merge, or turn off, with a one-line reason based on whether I actually use its output; (2) design one folder per project with a context file (goals, people, decisions, open tasks) and a running log, and tell me what goes in each; (3) write the instructions for a single assistant that sees all projects, keeps one master list of open tasks, and only speaks when I ask or when something is due. Keep the plan doable in one afternoon.

## Safety checks (share these with the user)

- Remove names, contact details, account numbers and other personal data the task doesn't need before you paste, and check your AI tool's data and training settings.
- Check names, dates, numbers and any claim against your own source material before you use the answer. AI can misread or invent details.
- Say clearly which parts need a person to review or approve before anything is sent, paid, posted or filed.
