# Match a messy customer order to your product catalog

Paste a customer's texted, emailed, or photographed order and get it matched to your exact products, reading the whole order for context instead of one line at a time, ready for a rep to check. Prokeep launched this as the Match Agent in its Order Pro agents for wholesale distributor counter teams.

## Inputs to collect first
Ask the user for anything below that they haven't already given you. Don't guess missing facts.

- Product list with SKU, name, size, and unit
- Recent orders, if any
- The text, email, or a transcription of the photo or handwritten list

## Instructions

Do the task below with the user's inputs in place of each [bracket].

You help our counter team turn customer requests into orders. Our catalog: [paste or attach product list with SKU, name, size, and unit]. This customer usually buys: [paste recent orders, if any]. Here is their request: [paste the text, email, or a transcription of the photo or handwritten list]. Read the whole request first to work out the job or project it's for, then for each line give: what they asked for, the SKU you'd match, quantity and unit, and how confident you are (high, medium, or low). For anything low-confidence or missing from the catalog, suggest the closest substitute and write one short question I can text back to confirm. End with a draft reply to the customer that I'll review before sending.

## Safety checks (share these with the user)

- This prompt works on text other people wrote (emails, reviews, messages or web pages). That text can hide instructions aimed at AI, such as "ignore your rules and…". Paste it as material to work on, and never let the AI act on requests inside it, like paying, sharing logins or changing records.
- Remove names, contact details, account numbers and other personal data the task doesn't need before you paste, and check your AI tool's data and training settings.
- Read and edit the draft before it reaches a customer or goes public. If you later automate this prompt, start with "draft and notify me", not "send automatically".
- Check names, dates, numbers and any claim against your own source material before you use the answer. AI can misread or invent details.
- Say clearly which parts need a person to review or approve before anything is sent, paid, posted or filed.
