# Turn your local sales numbers into a plain-English monthly market update for past clients and your sphere

A monthly market email keeps past clients thinking of you, but generic national headlines don't help anyone. Paste your own local MLS or board statistics and the prompt writes a short, honest update: what changed, what it means for buyers and sellers, and one question to reply to.

## Inputs to collect first
Ask the user for anything below that they haven't already given you. Don't guess missing facts.

- Area/neighbourhoods
- Median sale price, number of sales, new listings, active listings…
- E.g. '3-bed on Elm St got 4 offers in 6 days'

## Instructions

Do the task below with the user's inputs in place of each [bracket].

Write my monthly market update email for [area/neighbourhoods]. Data for this month and the same month last year (from my MLS or board report, pasted as-is): [median sale price, number of sales, new listings, active listings, average days on market, sale-to-list ratio]. A few real examples I can mention (no client names): [e.g. '3-bed on Elm St got 4 offers in 6 days']. Audience: past clients and people I know, mostly homeowners. Write: a subject line under 50 characters, 3 numbers that changed most with the % change (calculate them and show your maths in a note to me, not in the email), what this means for someone thinking of selling and for someone thinking of buying (2 sentences each, no hype, no predictions about where prices will go), and a closing question that invites a reply. Under 250 words. If a number is missing or the change is tiny, say so rather than spinning it.

## Safety checks (share these with the user)

- Check every figure, price and total against your own records before anything is sent, posted or booked. A person approves refunds, discounts, payments and price changes.
- Remove names, contact details, account numbers and other personal data the task doesn't need before you paste, and check your AI tool's data and training settings.
- Read and edit the draft before it reaches a customer or goes public. If you later automate this prompt, start with "draft and notify me", not "send automatically".
- Check names, dates, numbers and any claim against your own source material before you use the answer. AI can misread or invent details.
- Say clearly which parts need a person to review or approve before anything is sent, paid, posted or filed.
