# Search homes, check what a house is worth and what you can afford, all inside Claude with the new Zillow connector, then turn the results into a shortlist and tour plan

Since Oct 19, 2026, Claude has a Zillow connector (Customize > Connectors > Zillow, no Zillow account needed) that pulls real listings, maps, Zestimates and affordability math into the chat; ChatGPT already has a Zillow app. Buyers can use it to narrow a search, and agents can use it to prep a first buyer consult in minutes. The prompt below turns a buyer's wish list into a scored shortlist, an honest budget check and questions for the tours.

Budget: up to [price], with about [down payment] down and household income of [income]. 1) Show the 8 best matches in a table: address, price, beds/baths, size, days on market, Zestimate, and how many must-haves it meets. 2) For the top 5, give one line on why it fits and one line on what might be a problem (price above Zestimate, long time on market, missing must-have). 3) Run the affordability and monthly payment estimate for my budget and tell me plainly if the top picks are a stretch. 4) Suggest a tour order that keeps driving short, and list 3 questions to ask about each home. Treat Zestimates and payment numbers as estimates, not appraisals or loan approvals, and don't contact anyone or request tours without asking me first.
