# Turn one discovery call with a small business owner into a priced AI automation offer: find the repeated tasks, pick the easiest win and price it on hours saved

Freelancers and consultants selling AI automation are pasting their discovery-call notes into Claude or ChatGPT and getting a ranked list of automatable tasks, a one-page offer and three price options based on hours saved rather than hours worked. It works for anyone pitching agents or automations to local businesses, including real estate teams. The prompt below follows that workflow.

## Inputs to collect first
Ask the user for anything below that they haven't already given you. Don't guess missing facts.

- Owner name
- Business name, type of business, number of staff
- N8n / Zapier / Make / a simple AI agent
- Your own material (text, notes or data)

## Instructions

Do the task below with the user's inputs in place of each [bracket].

You are my offer strategist. I sell AI automations and agents to small businesses. Below are my notes from a call with [owner name] at [business name, type of business, number of staff]. 1) List every task the owner or staff repeat each week. For each: who does it, how often, how long it takes, and what tool they use now. 2) Pick the 3 easiest to automate with tools like [n8n / Zapier / Make / a simple AI agent]. Rank them by hours saved per month, then by how easy they are to build. Say what could go wrong with each. 3) For the top pick, write a one-page offer: the problem in the owner's own words (quote my notes), what I will build, what they get on day 1, what I need from them (logins, examples, a contact person) and how we'll measure success. 4) Give 3 pricing options: setup only, setup plus monthly support, and done-for-you. Explain each in hours and money saved, using their real numbers, and show the payback time. 5) List 5 questions I should ask before quoting so I don't underprice or overpromise. Notes: [paste]

## Safety checks (share these with the user)

- Check every figure, price and total against your own records before anything is sent, posted or booked. A person approves refunds, discounts, payments and price changes.
- Remove names, contact details, account numbers and other personal data the task doesn't need before you paste, and check your AI tool's data and training settings.
- Check names, dates, numbers and any claim against your own source material before you use the answer. AI can misread or invent details.
- Say clearly which parts need a person to review or approve before anything is sent, paid, posted or filed.
