# Have an AI review your team's sales or client calls against your written standards instead of a manager listening to each one: write the standard like you'd train a new hire, run it on real calls, and fix the playbook, not the output, until you trust it

Team leads rarely have time to listen to every call their people make. In a Business Insider as-told-to essay (Nov 1, 2026), Rachel Woods, CEO and cofounder of AMP, an 8-person company, said an AI agent runs its sales playbook to review customer calls and make sure they meet the company's standards, rather than a sales manager reviewing them manually, and that salespeople ask the playbook their questions instead of their manager, with answers pulled from the team's guide. Her method: pick one repeated task, write what starts it, what goes in and what should come out, write the steps the way you'd train a new hire, run it while comparing to how you'd do it, and 'fix the playbook, not the output'. She says the company would otherwise need four to five more hires, and that it spent $8,510 on Claude Code in September running playbooks in the background. Real estate team leaders can apply the same idea to buyer consultations and lead calls; only record or transcribe calls where the law and the other person allow it.

## Inputs to collect first
Ask the user for anything below that they haven't already given you. Don't guess missing facts.

- The material the task is about (pasted text, notes or data)

## Instructions

Do the task below with the user's inputs in place of each [bracket].

1. Write your call standard on one page, like you'd train a new agent: what a good first call covers (needs, timeline, budget, pre-approval, next step booked), what must never be said, and what 'good' sounds like.
2. Collect 5 call transcripts or recordings you have permission to use, including one great call and one weak one.
3. In ChatGPT or Claude, paste the standard and one transcript and ask: "Score this call against each point of the standard (met / partly / missed), quote the line that shows it, and give the agent two specific suggestions for the next call. Don't invent anything not in the transcript."
4. Compare its review with your own judgment. Where it's wrong, change the standard (add an example, clarify a rule), not the answer, and run it again.
5. Once it matches your judgment on all 5, run it weekly on new calls and read a sample yourself.
6. Save your team guide in the same project so agents can ask it questions ("how do we handle a buyer with no pre-approval?") before asking you.

## Safety checks (share these with the user)

- This prompt works on text other people wrote (emails, reviews, messages or web pages). That text can hide instructions aimed at AI, such as "ignore your rules and…". Paste it as material to work on, and never let the AI act on requests inside it, like paying, sharing logins or changing records.
- Check every figure, price and total against your own records before anything is sent, posted or booked. A person approves refunds, discounts, payments and price changes.
- Remove names, contact details, account numbers and other personal data the task doesn't need before you paste, and check your AI tool's data and training settings.
- Check names, dates, numbers and any claim against your own source material before you use the answer. AI can misread or invent details.
- Say clearly which parts need a person to review or approve before anything is sent, paid, posted or filed.
