# Connect the coding agent you already use to your live business: it checks status, lists site files and proposes changes that wait for your approval before anything ships

Willo’s docs (updated Nov 3, 2026) show how to connect Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Claude.ai or ChatGPT to a Willo business over MCP at https://api.willo.ai/mcp. After OAuth sign-in you pick the business and whether the agent may only look around or make changes (risky actions still wait for approval). ## Instructions

Do the task below with the user's inputs in place of each [bracket].

1. In your coding agent add the business MCP server (for Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user willo-my-business https://api.willo.ai/mcp`), then authenticate.
2. Approve the connection in the browser: pick the business and start with Look around only.
3. Ask: ‘Using the willo tools, check status, list site files and summarise the business.’ Confirm the three read calls work.
4. Switch the connection to Make changes when you’re ready; keep risky actions on approval.
5. Try one small change (copy tweak or draft page) and review it in the draft preview before go-live.
6. Disconnect anytime from Settings → AI Agents; use a separate named entry per business.

## Safety checks (share these with the user)

- Check names, dates, numbers and any claim against your own source material before you use the answer. AI can misread or invent details.
- Say clearly which parts need a person to review or approve before anything is sent, paid, posted or filed.
