How fast should I follow up after an open house?

What if the visitor already has an agent?
The follow-up offers to send details to their agent and makes no ask. In the US, NAR Code of Ethics Article 16 bars soliciting clients who are under an exclusive agreement with another agent. In Ontario, RECO and TRESA expect you to respect an existing representation agreement.
Can I text open house visitors?
Only if they gave you their number for follow-up. Under the US TCPA, marketing texts can need prior consent. In Canada, CASL requires consent, identification and an unsubscribe option for commercial messages. The tool adds an opt-out line and a reminder, but check your brokerage policy.
Does it send my notes anywhere?
