FAQ
How are the savings calculated?
For each task: (minutes now − minutes with AI) × times per week ÷ 60 = hours saved per week, then × 48 working weeks. Value = hours × your hourly cost. Net = value − 12 months of AI tool costs − any one-off setup cost. The “minutes with AI” figure includes the time to review and correct the output.
Where do the default numbers come from?
They're conservative starting assumptions for a small business, not measurements. Change every number to match your week. Real examples in our library: a UK kitchen-extraction company estimates it saves 10 hours a week of admin by turning field notes into invoices and proposals, and a two-person advisory firm cut admin per file from 6 hours to 2.5 hours with a document chaser.
Which AI agent should I build first?
Usually the task with the most hours saved that is also low-risk if the AI makes a mistake, like drafting replies or chasing paperwork that a person approves. The calculator ranks your tasks and links free prompts for the top three.
Can I share or save my result?
Yes. Your inputs are saved in this browser, and the share link rebuilds the same calculation for anyone you send it to. Pro adds a CSV export and a printable PDF report.
