FAQ
How is the prompt score calculated?
The grader checks six things: a role, a clear task, context, an output format, constraints and tone, and examples or quality checks. Each has points; very short or vague prompts are capped. It's a transparent checklist that runs in your browser, not an AI judgment, so the same prompt always gets the same score.
Is there a usage limit?
No. Grading is free and unlimited, with no account. Pro adds batch grading of many prompts at once with a CSV export.
Will a higher score always mean a better answer?
Usually, but not always. The score measures whether the prompt gives the AI what it needs. Always test the prompt on a real example and read the output before you rely on it.
Can AI improve my prompt for me?
Yes. Press “Ask ChatGPT to improve it” to open your prompt in ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity with instructions to rewrite it and explain the changes.
