Go from an idea you read online to a tested product the same day: a morning AI agent picks five ideas from your topic and saves them to a dated file, a helper agent checks which can be tested, and you approve what gets built: AI agent prompt
Good ideas spotted while scrolling usually go nowhere. On Oct 28, 2026 David Kasper described on X a pipeline where every morning his AI agent goes through X on one topic, picks five things, and saves the summary to private Git storage as a file named with today's date. A development agent on his computer reads that file, a helper agent checks which of the five are worth it and can be tested (maybe none), and he approves what happens next, aiming to go from an idea on X to a product the same day. The prompt below sets up the same daily scouting, filtering and approval steps.
The prompt
Help me set up a daily idea pipeline from my reading to a small tested build. My topic: [e.g. AI tools for accountants]. Where I read: [e.g. X, Reddit, Hacker News, newsletters]. What I can build: [e.g. small web apps, spreadsheets, automations] and my tools: [e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Replit]. 1) Write the instruction for a morning scouting agent: find five items on my topic from the last 24 hours, and for each give a one-line summary, the original link, and the problem it hints at; save it as a file named with today's date in [folder or repo]. 2) Write the instruction for a checker agent that reads that file and scores each idea on: can it be tested today, how small the first version is, who would use it, and any legal, privacy or platform-rule risk; it may recommend none. 3) Give me a one-screen approval format so I pick at most one idea, and the brief the build agent gets: what to build, what done looks like, and a test to prove it works. 4) Add rules: never copy someone else's product or content, link every source, and nothing gets published or posted without my yes. Keep each instruction short enough to paste.

Before you use it: what to check
Check yourself
- Anything legal, tax or compliance-related is a first draft for a qualified person to check. It is not professional advice, and clause references and deadlines must be checked against the source.
- Read and edit the draft before it reaches a customer or goes public. If you later automate this prompt, start with "draft and notify me", not "send automatically".
- Check names, dates, numbers and any claim against your own source material before you use the answer. AI can misread or invent details.
