Who this is for

Owners who know AI could help but don't know which job to hand over first.

Not for

Anyone who has already picked a task: go straight to that task's prompt.

What you need

10 minutes and a list of the jobs you repeat every week, with rough time spent.

The prompt

List my repetitive weekly tasks: [paste]. Score each on frequency, time spent, and risk if the AI makes a mistake. Recommend the best first workflow to automate in draft/approval mode, with a simple setup plan.

Worked example

A fictional business, so you can see what to paste in and what a good answer looks like. The example answer was written with AI help and its numbers and dates were checked; your AI's answer will be worded differently, so check it the same way.

Sample input (what you paste in)

Weekly tasks (Maple & Thread, a 2-person alterations shop):
- Answering "how much to hem jeans / when is it ready" messages: 3 h
- Chasing customers to pick up finished items: 1 h
- Writing Instagram posts: 2 h
- Ordering thread and zips: 30 min
- Bookkeeping: 2 h

Example output (illustrative)

| Task | Frequency | Time/week | Risk if AI errs | Score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price & ready-time replies | daily | 3 h | low (you approve each draft) | best |
| Pick-up reminders | daily | 1 h | low | good |
| Instagram posts | weekly | 2 h | low | good |
| Bookkeeping | weekly | 2 h | medium (money) | later |
| Ordering supplies | weekly | 30 min | medium (spend) | later |

Start with: price & ready-time replies, in draft mode.
Setup: 1) Write a one-page price list and turnaround times. 2) Paste it plus each new message into the "Draft replies from your FAQ" prompt. 3) Send only after you read the draft. After two weeks with no corrections needed, consider an inbox tool that drafts automatically.

Check before you use it: Check the time estimates are yours, not the AI's guesses, and keep money tasks in approval mode.
