Get your rentals in front of renters who search in ChatGPT: list every unit on the rental sites that have ChatGPT apps, fill every field, and keep one source so a rented unit comes down everywhere: AI agent prompt
A Nov 1, 2026 post by rental-syndication company Reallyo (which discloses it has an interest) checked how rentals reach ChatGPT. Its findings: ChatGPT does not take rental feeds directly as of Nov 1, 2026; OpenAI's product feed is for purchasable items and its hotel property feed is an ads pilot for approved advertisers. Rentals reach ChatGPT today through the apps of Zillow (Oct 2025), Redfin and Zumper (Feb 2026), Realtor.com (Mar 2026), RentCafe (Apr 2026) and Apartments.com (Aug 2026), which show their own listings. It cites Zumper data that renters using AI in their search rose from 4.4% (2024) to 9.8% (2025). Its advice to landlords and agents: be on those sites, fill every field (rent, availability, photos, beds and baths, address, pets, lease term, fees, size), keep one source so changes and rented units update everywhere, give each unit a stable ID and stable photo links, and keep your own site useful.
The prompt
1. List every unit you have for rent and where each one is posted today. 2. Check which of these it's on: Zillow, Apartments.com, Zumper, Realtor.com, Redfin, RentCafe. Those are the sites with ChatGPT apps. 3. Paste one listing into ChatGPT or Claude and ask: "Which of these fields is missing or vague: monthly rent, available date, photos, beds and baths, address, pets, lease term, fees and deposit, square footage? Rewrite the title and description so a renter's question can be matched to it. Don't invent anything." 4. Fix the gaps on every site, using the same facts everywhere. 5. Post from one place (your property software or a syndication tool) instead of by hand, so a rent change or a rented unit updates on every site at once. 6. Test it: in ChatGPT, use the Zillow or Zumper app and ask for a unit like yours in your area. See if yours shows and what it says. 7. Recheck monthly and take rented units down the same day.
