On Nov 1, 2026, X user @therentalpro, a landlord and real estate investor, posted a thread about handing his rental portfolio admin to an AI property manager running on Grok Bot. He says it reads his rental inbox twice a day, matches every Zelle, Venmo, Cash App and Section 8 payment to the right tenant, logs it in his master rent spreadsheet, and splits a lump housing-authority deposit across units by reading the PDF. It also sends him a Monday collection report and an end-of-day email covering only unmatched payments, duplicates and late tenants, drafts rent reminders and late follow-ups for his OK, and caught a billing error where one failed payment had pushed later payments into late fees.
The prompt
