Find people already asking for what you sell: route Reddit, Hacker News and Google Alerts mentions into one Gmail label and have an AI send you the 10 best conversations to help in each morning: AI agent prompt

Posting every day and hoping buyers find you is slow. On Oct 28, 2026 a solo SaaS founder posted on X that daily posting got him nothing, so he built a lead finder: F5Bot watches Reddit and Hacker News for his keywords, Google Alerts covers the rest of the web, Gmail files every alert under one 'Leads' label, and Claude reads that label every morning and sends him the top 10 threads, which he then goes and helps in. The prompt below sets up the keywords and the morning ranking for your own product, using free alert tools and any AI assistant that can read your email or a pasted digest.

The prompt

Help me set up a free daily lead finder for my business. What I sell: [product or service, who it's for, the main problem it solves, price range]. 1) Write 15 to 25 keywords and phrases real buyers would use when asking for help, including problem phrases ('how do I...', 'any tool for...', 'alternative to [competitor]'), split into lists for F5Bot (Reddit and Hacker News) and Google Alerts. Flag keywords likely to be too noisy. 2) Give me the Gmail filter rules to put every alert into one label called 'Leads'. 3) Each morning I'll paste that label's new alerts [paste alerts, or read my Leads label if you're connected to my Gmail]. Rank them and give me the top 10: link, what the person is asking, why it's a fit, how recent it is, and a score from 1 to 5. Skip posts where self-promotion would be unwelcome, old threads and anything I've already replied to. 4) For each of the top 3, draft a genuinely helpful reply that answers the question first and only mentions my product if it truly fits, following that community's rules. Don't post anything yourself; I'll review and reply by hand.
